Rigid-flex PCBs are specialized printed circuit boards that incorporate both rigid and flexible sections, offering versatility for various applications. These boards typically consist of multiple conductive layers separated by flexible or rigid insulating material. The outer layers may feature exposed pads or be covered. Conductors are situated on the rigid layers, and plated through-holes are utilized in both the rigid and flexible layers.
